Every Friday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week to come. Tom Jeffreys selects his top three exhibitions.

Two Temple Place

From Friday 28th October
William Morris @ Two Temple Place
Housed in a a neo-Gothic mansion, Two Temple Place launches this week as a space dedicated to showcasing publicly owned art from UK regional collections. They're kicking off with an exhibition dedicated to the patterns and poetry of the great nineteenth century artist, writer and designer William Morris. Taking into account such diverse influences as Chaucer, Norse sagas, Arthurian legends and Greek myth, this should be a fascinating show.

From Friday 28th October
Jon Thompson @ Anthony Reynolds
Academic, curator and artist, Thompson is a major figure on the British art scene. Having revolutionised the methodology of teaching fine art while at Goldsmith's (he broke down the barriers that separated the disciplines), he then went on to become Head of Fine Art at Middlesex University' School of Art. This week he unveils his latest works – abstract, minimal, with a focus on form and colour – at Anthony Reynolds Gallery.

From Saturday 29th October
Building the Revolution @ Royal Academy
An exhibition dedicated to Soviet art and design at the Royal Academy this winter. Focusing on the years between 1915 and 1935, the exhibition charts the emergence of Constructivism and other forms of expression for the might of the new Soviet state. At the same time, the courtyard plays host to a reconstruction of the famous (and famously unbuilt) Tatlin's Tower, whilst the Architecture Space hosts a small exhibition detailing the process of its reconstruction.
