Billy Childish @ L-13
At the same time as his retrospective over at the ICA, L-13 are exhibiting a n exhibition of new work by Kent-based alt-art hero Billy Childish. The splendidly entitled Bombs, Buggery and Buddhism consists of a text-based document exploring issues of identity.
From Thursday 25th March
Katia Liebmann @ Hackelbury
Katia Liebmann's photographic works [pictured] look incredible: Sad, calm, beautiful, melancholic, rain-bruised photo-blurs. Berlin town houses, blocks, trees, rivers, roads, boats blurring by. There's a sense of nostalgia in these images, of something missed - more perhaps about re-capturing than capturing. Vain attempts to return...
From Friday 26th March
Enchanted Palace @ Kensington Palace
Every now and again you get sent a press release for something that actually sounds completely brilliant. This is definitely one of those occasions. Kensginton Palace is being transformed into the Enchanted Palace by acclaimed theatre company WILDWORKS in collaboration with a host of big name fashion designers including Vivienne Westwood. Magic awaits!
