Every Friday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week to come. Tom Jeffreys selects his top three exhibitions.

From Monday 26th March
Exchange @ La Scatola
A week-long programme of talks, discussions and performances at La Scatola Gallery this March. Curators, writers and artists have been specially invited by the gallery's director, Valentina Fois, to discuss current trends and future developments in contemporary art. We're particularly looking forward to the day-long "performance work" on Friday, involving the kick-ass pair of Sarah Maple and Beverley Knowles.
From Thursday 29th March
Brains @ Wellcome Collection
One of the most hotly anticipated exhibitions of the year: Brains – The Mind as Matter explores not so much what the brain does as what we have done to it. So the exhibition is split into four sections – Measuring/Classifying; Mapping/Modelling; Cutting/Treating; and Giving/Taking. On display, as ever with Wellcome, are all manner of amazing things – from manuscripts to videos, photography to contemporary art (by the likes of Helen Pynor and Annie Cattrell) and even real human brains.
Saturday 31st March – Sunday 1st April
Back to Front Weekend @ Foundling Museum
Under the direction of Yinka Shonibare, the Foundling Museum is being turned upside-down for a weekend of fun and games, led by children. Yes, children and young people from across London are dressing up in 18th century garb to man the information desk, sell tickets, act as guides and put on entertainment for the visitors. There's all manner of different events going on – from needlework lessons to catechism practice, puppet shows, magic, and even an 18th century fairground. Brilliant!
