Every Friday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week to come. Tom Jeffreys selects his top three exhibitions.

From Monday 14th November
The Art of Mapping @ Air Gallery
Ever since the British Library's quite wonderful Magnificent Maps exhibition in 2010, London has been going crazy for all things map-related. Not that it's entirely a new thing; it's just that suddenly curators seem to be holding exhibitions themed entirely around the idea. This November TAG Fine Arts are putting on The Art of Mapping, with works by the likes of Grayson Perry, Simon Patterson, Stephen Walter and Heidi Whitman [above].
From Wednesday 16th November
£9,000 @ The Rag Factory
This sounds really cool. £9,000 features works by 28 different photographers from the University of East London, each of whom are responding to the recent rise in tuition fees in their own, individual ways. The stroke of genius though is that the entire exhibition is for sale – for £9,000 – and the money goes to fund a university year for "one lucky student". Cool, huh? What exactly does £9,000 get you these days? There's only one way to find out...
From Friday 18th November
RCA Secret @ RCA
Even though the RCA Secret exhibition and sale has now been going 17 years, it's still a brilliant idea. A load of contemporary artists produce postcard-sized works of art and they're on sale for just £45. The twist is that you don't know who's done what, so you could be picking up a piece by a virtual nobody or, if you're lucky, a major name in the contemporary art world. (This year, contributors include Tracey Emin, Grayson Perry and Anish Kapoor.)
