British cool is nothing to be scared of.

Adam Ant, darling of the New Romantics and icon of 80's pop culture, has been confirmed as headlining The Vintage Festival at the Southbank Center this weekend.

The 'Prince Charming' and 'Stand and Deliver' singer will perform on Sunday night to round up a weekend-long celebration of British cool. He joins legends such as Percy Sledge, 10cc and Jocelyn Brown already confirmed to perform nightly revue shows held in the Royal Festival Hall at the end of each day.

The three-day festival marks the 60th anniversary of the Festival of Britain and will include the best in music, film, fashion, art and design throughout the decades. See our pick of the weekend's line-up here.

The Vintage Festival takes place on 29/30/31st July at the Southbank Centre.
