Tom Armstrong picks his top three coolest, quirkiest and downright awesomest events from the week ahead.

Tuesday 14th - Friday 17th February
The Experience Cinema @ Hackney Round Chapel

Swerve the overpriced restaurants and go to a pop-up cinema with the cool people this Valentine's day. In fact, Experience Cinema have an ace programme of romantic classics all week, starting with Romeo and Juliet and ending with Casablanca, all situated in the smoochy confines of  Hackney Round Chapel.

Thursday 16th February
Let's Get Quizzical @ Dalston Superstore

A pub quiz, but with an extra helping of pop, swearing and drag queens. Let's Get Quizzical is hosted by self styled 'tranny with a fanny' Holestar (pictured), who takes teams on a ride through karaoke rounds, pretty rubbish prizes, and costumes as colourful as the language.

Sunday 19th February
Battersea Boot @ Battersea Park School

Established in 1999, Battersea Boot has become the best known and possibly best loved Sunday boot sale in town. Swap stuff you don't want for shiny money, find a random ornament for your front room or grab a few vintage bargains. Whether you're buying or selling, everyone's a winner.
