You might as well - you've got an extra day to recover.

Friday

Trouble Vision Carnival Warm-Up
Corsica Studios

Connoisseur and all round music guru Gilles Peterson (pictured) joins Andrés and T.Williams for Trouble Vision at Corsica Studios. It's not often you get to see Gilles in a club setting like this, and his eclectic style supported by the funk, soul and disco of Detroit's Andrés should make for a brilliant musical journey.

The Hydra presents Ostgut Ton
Secret East London Location

Broken & Uneven kick off their Hydra series of parties with Berlin techno giants Ostgut Ton at a secret location. Big, sweaty, muscular techno right in the kisser. Read our interview with the guys here.

Needwant w/Mario Basanov
Basing House

One of our favourite labels in one of our favourite clubs – it’s a no brainer really. Needwant’s label nights are always impressive, with Robert Owens and Nicholas previous guests, and there’s no reason Lithuanian house/disco staple Mario Basanov shouldn’t keep the trend going.

Saturday

The Hydra presents A Bunch of Cuts
Secret East London Location

The notorious drum n bass promoters host the second party in as many nights for The Hydra. DRS launches his album with Marcus Intalex and more.

Dixon, Joy Orbison and Shackleton
Fabric

Innervisions boss Dixon headlines the main room at London's finest club, with support from Joy Orbison, who massively impressed us at Eastern Electrics earlier this month. On top of that, Saturday residents Craig Richards and Terry Francis are always worth hearing on any occasion.

Urban Nerds Carnival Special
Scala

Huge things from the Urban Nerds carnival special yet again. Numbers boss Jackmaster (pictured) alone is worth your entrance fee, but backed by the likes of Breakage, MC Wrec and Marcus Nasty, this is totally unmissable for bass heads.

Sunday

The Boogie Cartel
Hysteria

The four-man disco crew have become known on the underground for their no-nonsense high intensity parties over the past year, and they’re back on Bank Holiday Sunday with a free, all day party in Dalston. Big recommended stamp on this one.

secretsundaze, Go Bang!
The Roundhouse & Proud, Camden

The Sunday party veterans present their first all-day mini festival, Go Bang! at the Roundhouse. The line-up is so good it’s ridiculous, featuring your big boys Four Tet, Levon Vincent and Matthew Herbert alongside more underground talent in the form of WBeeza and Citizen. You’ll never go far wrong with SS as far as we’re concerned.

Creche - The Summer Big One
TBA

The relative newcomers to the Sunday party circuit keep on rolling out the big names. Their summer big one consists of 15 hours, two venues, DJ Sneak, Julio Bashmore (pictured), Shonky and loads more.

Tief
Corsica Studios

Back over at Corsica, their other in-house night Tief welcome Tom Trago’s Voyage Direct imprint over from the Netherlands, along with KiNK, Dexter and a live show from Legowelt. Big things.

With it also being Carnival weekend, there's a multitude of parties and after-parties in or around the West London route from the likes of Paradise 45, Krankbrothers and Cadenza, so make sure you check our Notting Hill Carnival homepage for the info on those.
