Tom Armstrong selects the top three quirkiest, coolest and downright awesomest events from the week ahead.

From Friday 4th November

The Pale Blue Door @ Secret Location

The deliciously decadent pop-up restaurant is back at a secret East London location.

Over a select few dates across the week, diners can enjoy a three-course meal in a surreal fantasy world created by set designer Tony Hornecker, while drag queen extraordinaire A Man to Pet entertains in a way only he can. But don't let me ramble on about it any longer, The Pale Blue Door needs to be experienced. For more information visit the website.

Friday 4th November

David Bowie at the Races @ Bethnal Green Working Men's Club

Love David Bowie? Of course you do. Miss Greyhound racing since they closed Walthamstow dogs? Don't we all. Which is why I'm sure everyone will be pleased to hear that the two are combining at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club this Friday! Dress as Aladdin Sane or Ziggy Stardust as you take your chances on the virtual dog races. My advice - go for Thin White Duke era Bowie, well 'dog track chic'.

Saturday 5th November

Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair @ Spitalfields Market

One for the history books - this is the first time Spitalfields Market has opened on a Saturday for almost 200 years! The reason? Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair of course, who'll be providing Londoners with the finest vintage threads from a range of eras and decades.
