Tom Armstrong picks his top three coolest, quirkiest and downright awesomest events from the week ahead.

Friday 2nd December
Eye Spy @ Bethnal Green Working Men's Club

Need an excuse to dress up like James Bond? Didn't think so, but Bethnal Green Working Men's Club have given you one anyway. This espionage themed night includes live performances and DJs spinning 'vintage vinyl', plus a perfect opportunity to break out your best 'cold war chic' outfit from the wardrobe. Cocktails will be shaken, not stirred, we imagine.

Saturday 3rd December
Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair @ Spitalfields Market

With over 170 handpicked traders taking part, this could quite possibly be the biggest and best vintage market London has seen all year. Expect the usual vintage delights typically provided at Judy's events, with mens, womens, bags, belts, berets and all pretty much anything else you can think of. Plus as it's almost Christmas we're sure there'll be plenty of festive jumpers on offer (don't pretend you don't want one).

Saturday 3rd / Sunday 4th December
The East London Design Show @ Shoreditch Town Hall

Get your Christmas brain in gear this weekend and start thinking about prezzies. My suggestion is to swerve the West End rush and head to this stylish looking design show at Shoreditch Town Hall. With over 100 designers selling unique, creative products from jewellery to items for the home, this is a great opportunity to find something a bit special.
