Tom Armstrong picks his top three coolest, quirkiest and downright awesomest events from the week ahead.

Trainspotters Pop Up shop @ Shop 25, Hanbury St.
This is sure to 'brighten' up your week – a pop-up shop dedicated to lights. Yes it sounds boring and weird but it's actually pretty interesting. On sale is a huge range of reclaimed industrial lighting and interiors, from beautiful 1930s French street lamps to 'communist tube lights' whatever the hell they are, which have been salvaged by Trainspotters, a specialist dealers usually located in Gloucestershire. If you've got a bit of cash to be laying down on your digs and want something completely unique, go here.
Thursday 10th May
Retro and Revolution @ Fashion & Textile Museum
The Fashion and Textile museum have been running a series of lectures focusing on “what we wore and why we wore it”. This week's is the final and, in my eyes, most interesting part: Retro and Revolution, exploring how “the fashion cycle became a well oiled machine”. But just because it's a lecture doesn't mean you can turn up hungover and fall asleep.
Sunday 13th May
Antia's Vintage Fashion Fair @ 20th Century Theatre
Apparently Anita's Vintage Fashion Fairs have been going for over 8 years, which in today's terms probably makes them vintage themselves. This Sunday they take up residency at the 20th Century Theatre, Notting Hill, for another bargain filled afternoon of aceness. Mens, womens, accessories, probably even something for your dog, who knows.
