Tom Armstrong picks his top three coolest, quirkiest and downright awesomest events across the bank holiday weekend.

Saturday 25th August
Guilty Pleasures Cinema
Troxy
Eighties pop takes centre stage as Guilty Pleasures Cinema Party presents Desperately Seeking Susan, Madonna's big screen debut.
Celebrate Madonna in the ‘80s, rather than Madonna looking like she’s in her 80s (with her boob out), with a disco, go-go dancers, top London cabaret performers, bad look-a-likes, magic acts, dressing up boxes and photo booths.
All week
Mind Sports Olympiad
Various locations
The Olympics may be over but the real games take place this week at the Mind Sports Olympiad. Nevermind athletics and cycling, here players compete at a range of card, board and word games including chess, poker and Monopoly. Yeh great Usain, 100m in 2 seconds, but you’ve landed on Mayfair so that’s £500 please. Bosh. Point at that.
Monday 27th August
Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair
Spitalfield's Market
It’s bank holiday weekend, so there’s no better excuse to go shopping for vintage clothes. That’s a terrible excuse really, but who needs one? Especially as the brilliant Affordable Vintage Fair is back at Old Spitalfield’s with more clothes, homeware, accessories, furniture and all sorts to spend your cash dollars on.
