Tom Armstrong picks his top three coolest, quirkiest and downright awesomest events from the week ahead.

From Wednesday 28th March

Films at the Yard @ The Yard, Hackney Wick

Due to popular demand, everybody's favourite pop-up cinema folk have extended their run in Hackney Wick for another three weeks! Which means you've got another chance to see their superb handpicked mixture of cult classics from the 70s up to the 00s. But get in quick, as everybody knows by now these always sell out in advance.

Friday 30th March-4th April

Nothing but Navy @ Luna & Curious

Nothing buy Navy is a lifestyle brand created by St Martins graduate Gem Waggett, and can you guess what colour all her products are? Yes! Navy, of course. I won't sit here and tell you navy is the new black or any such neophilic rubbish, but I do like the look of her new pop-up shop in Bethnal Green, which opens next week. It'll feature carefully selected homewares, limited edition artworks and garments most of which are from independent designer makers in the UK. Nothing but Navy pop-up shop is at: Luna & Curious, 24-26 Calvert Avenue, E2 7JP

Saturday 31st March
Can't Buy Me Love @ The Boogaloo

The Beatles were right, you can't buy love, but thankfully you can forget about that and buy lots of other stuff instead. Head on up to North London on Saturday for Can't Buy Me Love at the Boogaloo, Muswell Hill. It's a vintage market and a jumble sale combined, which means, dear Londoners, that not only can you glam yourself up in vintage threads but you can spend the change on a fine selection of bric-a-brac for under a fiver!
