Richie Hawtin announced as special headline guest for Eastern Electrics festival 2013

The UK techno pioneer joins a host of other top acts announced for the weekender.
Techno legend Richie Hawtin has been announced as the special guest headliner for Eastern Electrics 2013.
The veteran producer / DJ has risen to become one of the most respected artists in electronic music history, both under his own name and his Plastikman guise. His announcement comes with a wave of other acts signed up for the weekend festival, including New Jersey house pioneer Kerri Chandler, Chez Damier, Jackmaster and Detroit's Kyle Hall.
The weekender will take place in Knebworth Park, 45 minutes from London. Last year's event was one of our favourite day festivals of the summer, with excellent organisation, a well curated line-up and a decent crowd. Read the review here.
