Tom Armstrong picks his top three coolest, quirkiest and downright awesomest events from the week ahead.

All Week
The Tiara Shop @ Selfridge's
As much as we're all looking forward to putting our glad rags on next weekend, a jewel encrusted crown may come across as a little overdressed, even for the Jubilee. Instead, take advantage of Selfridge's conveniently timed pop-up tiara shop for your bling fix. Prices generously start at a fiver and go up to an eye watering fifty grand.
From Thursday May 31st
The Big British Tea Party @ Selfridge's
Another Selfridges one, this. In my opinion, afternoon tea and crazy golf are two bastions of Britishness which should be celebrated and indulged in whenever possible. Thankfully the folk at the big yellow department store agree, and are combining the two this summer up on their roof terrace. Just watch out for flying teacups aimed in frustration at the bloody windmill.
Sunday June 3rd
The Book Club Diamond Jubilee Party @ The Book Club
Nobody does old fashioned street celebrations quite like The Book Club. Their Royal Wedding party was a sea of sun, smiles and bunting, and the Diamond Jubilee edition should be no different. Expect popular British pastimes including the eating of food, the drinking of booze, and the waving of flags.
