Vintage, Sex Appeal and Shopping - Editor's Choice: Lifestyle

Tom Armstrong picks his top three coolest, quirkiest, and downright awesomest events from the week ahead.

Tuesday 10th-29th January
This is not a Pop-Up

No it's not a pop-up shop. It may sound like one and have all the characteristics of a pop-up shop, but we're assured it's not. Anyway, what's important is that from Tuesday you can buy loads of cool stuff, from books to oyster card holders, at The Hayward Gallery, all courtesy of design/publishing specialists NoBrow.

Tuesday 10th January
Sex Appeal

Who said us Brits have a stiff upper lip when it comes to sex? This night at the Bloomsbury Theatre will include mass debating from a host of comedians on the subject of sex education (sorry, we just couldn't resist it). Featuring Al Murray, Richard Herring, Robin Ince and more, the event aims to make discussion about sex with our nation's teenagers more positive, and all proceeds go to Brook, a leading sexual health charity.

Sunday 15th January
The Vintage Fashion Fair

Established in 1999, this was the very first vintage fair in London. Imagine that! Where would we be without them today? Still be raiding Oxfam I suppose. We think it's well worth making the trip over to Hammersmith for this one.
