Groove Armada Retire...their live band.

Lovebox founders Groove Armada announce the end of their live shows...sort of.

The old 'we're closing down, get it while you can' tactic has worked for decades so when Groove Armada announced that their upcoming tour of the UK and Australia will be their last as a full live band you could be forgiven for being cynical. They have made clear it's not the end of them as a production duo, however, and they have plans for new releases and performances in 2011.

Whether it's a way of downsizing in these days of economic instability or if it's a matter of seeking a new direction musically what is certain is that it'll be a good tour to catch. Tickets are selling out fast so get in now if you're planning to go to one of the dates. At the time of writing the Manchester, Bristol and the second London date are all sold out along with the entire allocation of tickets on the band’s website.
