Joe Driscoll returns with new album - Mixtape Champs

Joe Driscoll has a new album on the way, if this first single, Mixtape Champs, is anything to go by it's going to be a stormer.

After a hiatus in France and the US, the Indy Award winning Joe Driscoll returns with two albums of new material.

The first single, Mixtape Champs, from the new album of the same name, is definitely some of his best work to date and the video of his fantastic full length live version is required viewing. Check out that video above as well as free download of his 'Riddum' tune that was used by Nokia for their recent N8 advert. Keep your eyes on the competition page too as we'll also have merchandise and a pair of tickets to the exclusive album launch party to give away nearer to the time. Given that there is also a collaborative album with virtuoso Kora player Sekou on the horizon for early Summer and an exhaustive touring schedule in place, it looks like 2011 is going to be a big year for this nomadic musical trailblazer.
