In January, this January in particular it seems, all our purse strings are tighter than usual. With that in mind, here's a freebie album packed full of good tunes with which to chase away those winter blues.
Over Christmas our lovely friends at First Word Records have been giving away a compilation of great tunes from a cross section of their roster. So we thought we'd share it with you in case you haven't already jumped aboard the freebie train. It comes highly recommended as it has such Spoonfed faves as Kid Kanevil, Red, and the long absent (now something of an adopted Aussie) Wayne Lotek all contributing tracks. Check it out then buy yourself some of their other fantastic and very reasonably priced releases.
