Tayo's Tracksuit Party - Classic Edition

Tom Olesen is excitedly digging out his finest sports wear. It can only mean one thing...Tayo's Tracksuit party returns!

Tayo's tracksuit party has become an annual highlight of the London clubbing scene. The yearly homage to sportswear has seen the likes of DJ Craze and Klever, Mylo, and Felix from Basement Jaxx all donning their finest tracksuits. This year marks a decade of sweatband-clad madness and so it's set to be a particularly special one. This is Tracksuit Party – The Classic Edition. All the DJs involved are stepping back to their roots and/or outside their normal comfort zones to bring you exclusive one-off sets.

Ed Simons, of Chemical Brothers/boinking Lily Allen fame, will be going back to the musical awakening of his Manchester uni days with a classic Hacienda set.

Jack Beats aka Beni G and Plus 1, originally of the Mixologists and Scratch Perverts respectively, go back to their roots with a classic '90s rap / classic '90s rave set.

One third of Disco Bloodbath, Dan Beaumont, is taking it old school with a classic Disco Bloodbath set.

Singer and DJ, Ben Westbeech, is going classic house.

West side favourite, Roxanne Roll, has been drafted in to get people singing along with a classic yacht rock set.

Tayo, the nylon don himself, will be getting all kinds of '80s with his selection of classic grooves. Expect Tom Tom Club more than once.

There are always lots of unannounced special guests and this year Tayo is promising a secret guest headliner, who has apparently played before. Given that the list of previous guests include the likes of Grandmaster Flash and Roots Manuva, they're unlikely to disappoint. All this set in the lush surrounds of Paradise by way of Kensal Green.

With an interpretive dance competition, a bad advice bureau, Southern Hospitality running hip hop karaoke, and loads of DJs yet to be announced, this is going to be a road block, as always, so get down early.

Entry is a fiver if you're wearing 'sports casual'. Which clearly you should be. £7 without.
